Thousand of barrels of oil per day come out from a "wound" on the ocean floor.
We do not understand what they are doing to heal it, they forced us to swallow so much raw! We would be happy, if we were cars.
Instead, that is deadly poison, for us humans and the environment. Huge patches spread out over the sea surface and become thicker on the coasts. Deadly polluting poison.
Black spots on our consciences, since not enough has been done to hold back and heal the "Wound of Mexico."
What can we artists do? We certainly cannot go and put a cap on all that, we will use the best weapon we have: art.
"Bleeding wound of Mexico." It is a reflection which, starting from this "accident", wants people to reflect on man's relationship with the ecosystem which he belongs to and on the responsibilities that are too often neglected.
"Bleeding wound of Mexico." It is a free show, spontaneous, thoughtful, sometimes angry, but after all optimistic.
If everyone will play his part, every wound will be healed, otherwise, not a “mask” will be enough to hide our shame.
